Les Mille et une Nuits vol 3: l'enchanté

SYNOPSIS

In deel drie vraagt Scheherazade zich af of ze nog wel verhalen kan vertellen. Ze ontsnapt uit het paleis en gaat op zoek naar aardse geneugten tot ze haar vader ontmoet en toch maar weer verder gaat met haar vertelling. Het laatste deel van Miguel Gomes' ambitieuze trilogie heet 'The Enchanted One', ongetwijfeld omdat we in dit deel vertel- ster Scheherazade (een schitterende Crista Alfaiate) daadwerkelijk te zien krijgen. "This again ambitious work is the most prominently hybrid of the three installments, as it weaves together a willingly anachronistic first part, containing elements of filmed theater and flights of narrative fancy, with a sprawling but often soberly observed story about bird trappers that's feels almost entirely documentary in nature."
